Blistering line FAST

The blister line produced by Marchesini Group reaches speeds of 600 blister/minute. Although built in accordance with the Marchesini blister production philosophy, it introduces innovations which make it highly flexible and extremely easy to manage.

The innovative blister machine has many excellent features. Firstly, the feeder can be removed as a block, and substituted with a second feeder previously set up for a second product. This avoids the need to disassemble individual components, making change-overs fast and easy.

Use of the PC which manages all parameters also makes the operator’s work easier, since he does not need to adjust or change mechanical parts.

Another interesting feature of the MB460 is vertical forming with progressive temperature plates: when the machine stops, the plates don’t just open, but descend vertically, to avoid material overheating. The use of 12 fully PC controlled brushless motors, the compact layout with the reels on the back, and areas that are clearly separated thanks to the modular, balcony structure, provide maximum transparency and accessibility for inspections and cleaning.

Each cavity in the blister is perfectly formed by the combined use of punches and compressed air, to guarantee constant film thickness and optimum product protection. Flat sealing without the use of rollers ensures that an even pressure is applied over the entire surface of the blister, whilst feed and sealing stations operate with continuous movements, so that products and blister tiles are handled as delicately as possible.

The Robocombi will also be present, a robotised solution guaranteeing positive transfer and so helping to make this new machine one of the most modern robotic creations in the pharmaceutical packaging sector. Finally, the line includes the MA352 continuous-motion cartoner, an extremely versatile machine, built with a full balcony structure to allow complete visibility and inspection. The structure guarantees effective separation of the mechanical zone and the product and carton conveyor zone. As result, total and easy identification and removal of any residues is possible at the end of a batch.

Products arriving from the feed chain conveyor are inserted by a set of pushers located on the side opposite the operator, which follow the continuous motion of the carton chain conveyor, whilst the cartons are fed forward by motor-driven belts.
